diakonoV

diakonos is Koine Greek for "servant."  It is the word used by Jesus in Matthew 20:28 "the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give his life as a ransom for many."  It is the calling that all who are redeemed by Christ receive.

diakonos at CVCA is designed to give students encouragement and opportunities to engage in a life of ministry close to home.  It is a place for those who are ready to add "bible-doing" to the bible study they receive at CVCA.
